The Corleones are probably the only family on earth that’s more dysfunctional than yours.

In this post: Another Howdygram public service.

As a Howdygram public service, here’s what to watch on TV tomorrow to avoid helping in the kitchen or talking to annoying relatives. For the record, I never bother with American Movie Classics — way too many commercials! — but it might be worth the trouble on Thanksgiving for The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II because the Corleones are probably the only family on earth that’s more dysfunctional than YOURS. (All times listed are Central.)

IFC
Ten million consecutive Three Stooges shorts starting at 6:30 a.m.

CBS
Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 8 a.m.

TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES
Lassie Come Home (1943) 11:15 a.m.
National Velvet (1944) 1 p.m.
The Phantom Tollbooth (1969) 3:15 p.m.
The Muppets Take Manhattan (1984) 5 p.m.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (1968) 7 p.m.
Dr. Doolittle (1967) 9:30 p.m.
The Incredible Mr. Limpet (1964) 12:15 a.m.

AMERICAN MOVIE CLASSICS
The Godfather (1972) 10:30 a.m.
The Godfather: Part II (1974) 2:30 p.m.

NBC
The National Dog Show at 12 noon
NFL Football: Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens at 7:30 p.m.

A&E
Nonstop “Duck Dynasty” reruns beginning at 5 p.m.

In addition to all of the above, at 9 a.m. on our local ABC affiliate here in the Dallas area we can also watch the 64th Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade live from downtown Houston, sponsored by H-E-B Grocery Stores and featuring Tommy Tune as Grand Marshal.
Thank you for reading this. I think I have to eat dinner now.
