A brief peanut butter postscript.

As an addendum to last night’s post you should know that Amazon.com has more than DOUBLED its price for the six-jar pack of Skippy reduced fat creamy peanut butter that I ordered yesterday — from $12.29 to $29.99 — obviously responding to that pending national tragedy about the skyrocketing cost of wholesale peanuts and Kraft’s plan to raise the price of peanut butter by 40% at the end of this month.

This, dear readers, is a lot of crapola.

There may be other peanut butter possibilities on Amazon that haven’t raised their prices yet so this is an excellent time to stockpile. You heard it here first.
