I almost didn’t write a post today. This is mostly because: 1) Sam and I have been asleep almost nonstop since mid-morning enjoying consecutive naps in a variety of rooms; 2) the weather sucks; and 3) I think that’s all.

In case you require additional detail about item #2, the winter storm that’s forecast for north Texas this weekend just keeps getting worse. The fun is scheduled to get underway by mid-morning tomorrow with sleet, strong wind and the thermometer at 31°. Ongoing frozen precipitation is expected straight through until noon on Monday, although at some point it’s supposed to turn the entire Dallas/Forth Worth metro area into a gigantic sheet of ice.

Frankly, I don’t care. Howdygram headquarters has enough toilet paper, TicTacs and Coke Zero to last a month. We’re in great shape. Thank you.
