Don’t forget to turn out the light when you’re done here, okay?

In this post: Egg rolls, Robert Wagner.

It’s 1:45 Tuesday morning. Sam won’t be home from work until maybe 5 a.m. so I thought I’d try to squeeze in one more quick Howdygram post before I go to bed. We’ll see how long I last. I didn’t get much of a nap yesterday so I’m mighty tired right now. Try not to make any unnecessary noise.

Know what I had for dinner last night? CHINESE FOOD! I ordered a big steaming sack of fabulous crap from China City, including shrimp egg foo young, extra spicy curry shrimp, a couple of egg rolls and two little containers of hot & sour soup, which I consumed while being entertained by Monday’s episode of “People’s Court” and With a Song in My Heart (1952) starring Susan Hayward, David Wayne and adorable Robert Wagner.
This was quite an excellent movie — a biopic about singer Jane Froman — and last night was the first time I ever saw it all the way through because With a Song in My Heart hasn’t been on TV since I was in junior high school and I remember leaving the room during Susan Hayward’s big plane crash scene. This time I managed to stick it out.

Oy, I’m done. I have to go to bed now. Thanks for stopping by and don’t forget to turn out the light when you’re done here, okay?
