I’ve got TicTacs and hot hands to keep me company.

Yesterday was pretty fabulous around here for FONTS. I took advantage of Comicraft’s annual New Year’s Day web sale (every font was reduced to $20.12) and bought two — “Wall Scrawler” and “Jeff Campbell” — then I discovered Blambot.com and downloaded four cool comic book fonts for free. All are illustrated for you below. Are these gorgeous, or what? Incidentally, I’m an addict and would rather buy fonts than almost anything else on earth.
If you’re wondering why I’m not in bed at this hour I’m afraid I don’t have a very good explanation. I don’t really have a bad explanation, either, come to think of it ... I’m just wide awake in the middle of the night with the Howdygram, a box of TicTacs and HOT HANDS. The hot hands thing has to be a side effect from one or more of the medications I take every night at 11 p.m. — Pravachol, Amitriptylene, Benazepril Hydrochlorothiazide and Spironolactone — because it always kicks in about half an hour later and my hands feel like they’re on fire from the inside out. This is mighty annoying but eventually goes away.

I guess I’d better go back to bed now because I don’t want Sam to wake up and miss me. Thanks for stopping by.
