Remembering the best of Sochi. I promise to stop writing about the Olympics now.

In this post: Clydesdales everywhere.

As a final follow-up to the Howdygram’s semi-comprehensive coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics I’m pleased to include the following severely entertaining GIFs of various athletes screwing up the most important performance of their lives. We begin with U.S. figure skater Jeremy “Clydesdale” Abbott, who followed this now-famous airborne crash with three and a half minutes of shitty footwork and windmill arms.

Next up ... graceful U.S. snowboarder Sophie Rodriguez, who was eating snow before she even had a chance to get off the ground.

Here we have a trio of talented cross-country skiers, Sergey Ustiugov (Russia), Marcus Hellner (Sweden), and Anders Gloeersen (Norway). I don’t know which one is which because they all look pretty much the same face down.

Check out Russian biathlete Anton Gafarov’s finest moment. I still can’t figure out what tripped him up. There’s not another competitor in sight.

And finally, here’s Irish skeletoner Sean Greenwood having a wild ride on his Olympic garbage can lid.

Thank you for sharing this with me and it was really nice of you to stop by. I mean it.
