If you’re like me, you might need a little something to cheer you up right now.
Sam is having a verifiably shitty day, and my new office chair — the one that finally arrived on Friday after a three-month back order — is creating part of the negative hoo-hah and might be the proverbial last straw. Sam assembled the chair during my nap, and when I test drove it a few minutes ago the damn thing WASN’T COMFORTABLE because the seat felt like it was tilting forward when I sat down. So Sam took it apart, turned the base around and bolted it back together, but we wound up with the same damn problem AND lost a screw in the process.
Right now I’m sitting in my old chair while we debate what the hell to do. Sending it back is a definite possibility. (So is ordering Chinese for dinner.) Stay tuned for additional developments.
