Take the quiz. Where do you land on the ideological spectrum?

In this post: Take the quiz, wet weather, having a chocolate attack.

Yes, people, in case you haven’t figured it out by now ... I’m a bleeding heart liberal. That’s as far left as a leftist can get. If you consider yourself politically savvy, there’s an interesting little online quiz sponsored by Esquire/NBC News that will show you where you land on the ideological spectrum between left and right. My results were no surprise whatsoever because I’ve been a pro-choice progressive for decades. The link to the quiz appears below my results.

We’re having lots of substantial rain today ... cold, steady, very wet and extremely welcome. According to Weather.com lots more rain is in the forecast for the rest of the night tonight and all day tomorrow. No, our drought isn’t over, but we sure do need all the damn water we can get around here. For your possible interest the map below indicates: A) Howdygram headquarters in Mesquite; B) Sam’s office in downtown Dallas (wave so he can see you, okay?); and C) our favorite Costco in Rockwall. We love Costco!
Tomorrow will be a HUGE DAY around here. In case you’re interested, we’re expecting our biweekly Schwan’s delivery in the morning — frozen omelets! teeny chicken tacos! corn dogs! — and a carton full of unforgettable Russell Stover sugar-free chocolates via FedEx in the afternoon. This will include dark chocolate pixies, little marshmallow thingies, squishy caramels and half a dozen chocolate bars to tide me over until my other order of chocolate arrives on Friday from Netrition. Holy crap. I might have a nervous breakdown!

It’s already after 7 p.m. and high time to start pondering dinner before I end up in a low blood sugar episode. Plus I want to watch “People’s Court,” the latest episode of “Hardcore Pawn” and the “Real Housewives of New Jersey Tell All” horseshit I recorded last night on Bravo. I love my life.
